Since 1989, our mission has been simple:

“Following Jesus, sharing His love in the community.” But just because following Jesus is simple doesn’t mean it’s easy. That’s why we’re here: to help each other follow Jesus, one day at a time, all while sharing the love and forgiveness He has given us with the people around us.

Why do we do this? Jesus says in John 10:10:”I came that they may have life.” The they is us–anyone who believes in Jesus and what He did. The life that He has given us we have been tasked with sharing: sharing with others, sharing with each other.

Lord of Life hosts families from around escaping the colder weather during the winter time. These are some of our “winter texans” from 2015. Enjoy!

Lord of Life is part of a larger body of churches known as the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS). If you would like to know more about this body, please click the icon. It will take you to the main website of the LCMS where you will find out more about what we do and who we are as a world-wide church body.
