Snacks and Lunches
Parents are expected to provide a nutritious lunch.  
Minimum standard 746.3309 states that:

1. Parent’s choosing to provide the child’s meals and /or
snacks from home and the parent understands the child-
care center is not responsible for its nutritional value or for
meeting the child’s daily food needs.

2. If the parent provides a meal but not a snack you are
responsible for providing a snack as specified in 746.3307
of the title (relating to what kind of foods must I serve for
snacks?).

3. You must provide safe and proper storage and service
of the individual meals and snacks provided by parents.

4. You must ensure meals and snacks provided by the
parent are not shared with other children.

Please do not send carbonated drinks, candy, gum, and
soda are not allowed.  Any child not having a lunch will be
provided a nutritional lunch meeting the child’s daily food
needs. Parents will be billed $2.50.

A morning snack and an afternoon snack will be provided
daily. Breakfast is not served at the center and we ask that
your child has eaten before coming to school.  Please
inform the Director and/or teachers of any food allergies
and special diet needs of you child.  Parents are to provide
food for any special diet.  Children are encouraged but
never forced to eat their food.
