Pastor David Schroeder

Greetings in Christ. I am Rev. David Brian Schroeder, and I hail from Wausau Wisconsin. I received my Bachelors Degree from the Concordia University of Wisconsin, and my Masters of Divinity from the Concordia Seminary in Saint Louis. I served my vicarage year in seminary (3rd year) at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Des Moines, WA—a suburb of Seattle, nestled between Federal Way and Burien. In May of 2012 I received and accepted my first call to serve Our Savior Lutheran Church and School as their Associate Pastor. In September 2017, I received a call to serve Lord of Life Lutheran Church (LOL, as it is affectionately known by her members) in Corpus Christi, TX as their Sole Pastor, and in October I accepted that call. In December I moved to Corpus Christi, and was installed as LOL’s pastor. I am excited to begin ministry at LOL, as the Lord guides and directs us in new directions. When I’m not at the church, or serving the community in some way, I enjoy biking, hiking, time at the beach, and I am interested in trying the local fishing, as well as kayaking, and might even try that kite surfing someday. If it’s raining I’ll read a book or watch a movie. That’s enough about me, I’d like to get to know you… I always love hearing the stories from other people, so drop in if you’d like to share.
